It contains the residence of the archbishop and some church offices, as well as a museum.

The chapel holds the monumental sepulcher. It was a very nice place and lots of great memories to look back. The building served as primary residence of the church of ireland archbishops of armagh for over two hundred years, from 1770 to 1975. The building itself is well maintained.
